Ctrl + 0 should also reset TextZoom on a page as well as "view > zoom > reset" from menu Steps: 1. Goto about:config 2. set mousewheel.withaltkey.action = 3 3. Goto any web page with text content 4. press control key and scroll mouse wheel 5. Page zooms/Unzooms 6. press control key and zero key 7. page comes back to original font size 8. Now scroll mouse wheel after pressing alt key 9. Page zooms/Unzooms 10. press control key and zero key 11. nothing happens. (expected to reset text zoom) 12. now do a full zooms/Unzooms, using ctrl+mousewheel 13. press cntl+0 key 14. page reset font size to where we put text-zoom last Thank God, Firefox is not saving text-zoom state So we can restart and come back to the normal text size
[parity-IE] as in IE7 user can reset text-only-zoom see bug 401322 comment 32

Verified with Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9b4pre) Gecko/2008021404 Minefield/3.0b4pre ID:2008021404 The only thing I can see with a current build is, that it really takes a sec or so until the zoom is reset and normal sizes are displayed. Is this a perf issue which should be filed as a separate bug?

Is resetting the zoom level slower than zooming in or out for you? This may be a general perf issue with zooming and is likely not specific to zooming to "100%", so discussing this in a new bug is probably better. Do you also see this in a build before the patch for bug 401322 landed (for example the beta 3 release)?
