User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.9) Gecko/20071025 Firefox/2.0.0.9 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.9) Gecko/20071025 Firefox/2.0.0.9 After closing all Firefox windows, and then re-entering at a later point in time (with or without reboot), the cookies are not read correctly. For example, Yahoo Mail does not recognize that I was already logged in. This happens with all sites that have cookies. My cookies do not appear to be deleted. I fixed this error temporarily by unchecking the "Accept Cookies from Sites" checkbox, exiting the application, and then re-checking the box when I start it up again. But after reboot the error returned. Two other people at my company are experiencing the same problem. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Close all windows and restart Firefox. 2. Go to a site the uses cookie logins. 3. Actual Results: Pages did not "remember" me having logged in.
Only way around this so far is to disable Cookies and then use "Exceptions" for each site that requires cookies. Would be nice if someone fixed this bug!
Same here. Occurs since I changed from FF2 to FF3
Apparently caused by TorButton (wether toggled on or off), deactivated and all cookies are kept...
I've never even heard of Torbutton and I am having the exact problem as described above.
some cookie issues have been resolved. can you reproduce with the current beta and newer Yahoo Mail? http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-beta.html

When was Yahoo mail brought into this? I never use that and I have the problem. I still have this problem, and have stopped using Firefox as a result.
facenna, you did not report this bug. this bug is on yahoo mail. Reporter, have you created a new profile to try there? http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Profiles
