This gives essentially the same reult as bug 405483 but is a little harder to reproduce. Timing is crucial. 1. Have at least 2 tabs open 2. On a tab visit a site that is set to be zoomed out. 3. click a bookmark to load a site that isn't zoomed in the same tab then quickly switch to a different tab. 4. The moment the new pages title appears on the loading tab, but before the load is complete switch back to it. 5. Experience a few weird layout oddities till it settles down with the page only taking up a small area in the content area. I'm not sure if this is same problem I'm having for weeks (with Linux versions) after Firefox 3.0 beta1 release. If I open to same tab (from bookmarks) another site which has different zoom factor (as saved earlier), Firefox always redraws old page first with new page's zoom percentage and only after that loads new site. This happens with zoom in or zoom out, only needed is different zoom percentages with sites. This makes browsing extremely irritating in my quite slow computer. Only solution is to define both variables in about:config fullZoom.maxPercent (300) fullZoom.minPercent (50) to something like 150, meaning I must use fixed zoom for all sites. Another way to reproduce this (or maybe a different bug with the same effect). On this page zoom out. Now visit http://dev.philringnalda.com/notif.html which will display a bunch of notifications. Dismiss them all (important). Click back. Now this bugzilla page displays using only a small portion of the content area.

Not blocking on this bug for final ship. Would take a safe enough patch if one comes through.
