no titles in my organizer or in my star menu for folder roots dietrich I think was hitting this too? note, it could be related to bug #406094 and #406089, but I think this is with a new profile. I'll attach some screen shots, my places.sqlite, and figure out if I can reproduce it.
Flags: blocking-firefox3?
i've seen that today testing the removal of places.sqlite in builds <= 26/11
I think I just blocked on something a lot like this -- dupe?
> I think I just blocked on something a lot like this -- dupe? bug #406094 is what I think you mean, but this could also be related to bug #406089
Flags: blocking-firefox3? → blocking-firefox3+
Priority: -- → P3
Target Milestone: --- → Firefox 3 M11
I think relates to bug #407296. I've been running into bug #407296, and then resetting browser.places.leftPaneFolderId pref to -1 (which we plan on doing in code) to unbreak my organizer. After doing that, I've ended up with the "(no title)" problem. I've tried to come up with reproducable steps, but no luck yet.
Depends on: 407296
sounds like a dupe of bug 407296.
yes probably a dupe, but i also think that this scenario was visible when downgrading to previous schema (i had seen that in such a case), so probably also related to Bug 412211
(In reply to comment #8) > yes probably a dupe, but i also think that this scenario was visible when > downgrading to previous schema (i had seen that in such a case), so probably > also related to Bug 412211 > ok, both those are fixed now, so marking this fixed. re-open if you see this again.

Bug 451915 - move Firefox/Places bugs to Firefox/Bookmarks and History. Remove all bugspam from this move by filtering for the string "places-to-b-and-h". In Thunderbird 3.0b, you do that as follows: Tools | Message Filters Make sure the correct account is selected. Click "New" Conditions: Body contains places-to-b-and-h Change the action to "Delete Message". Select "Manually Run" from the dropdown at the top. Click OK. Select the filter in the list, make sure "Inbox" is selected at the bottom, and click "Run Now". This should delete all the bugspam. You can then delete the filter. Gerv
