As the summary says, tasks will hide if I uncheck and check the box, but at start, box is checked and tasks are showing.  Using trunk, not sure on the regression range, fairly recent I'm sure, within the last few weeks I think.

ahh thanks for the catch.  I searched on "hide tasks" which didn't catch that the subject says hidden. *sigh*
