I've downloaded the Belgian holiday file from Mozilla.org (Belgiandutchholidays.ics) and then tried to import then in my WCAP version of Lightning. This doesn't work as I'm not seeing any public holidays anywhere.
Pls advise ...
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Download latest version Thunderbird
2. Install Lightning WCAP version
3. import ics file
Actual Results:
no holidays are seen
Expected Results:
Public holidays appear in calendar

Works for me using Lightning 0.8pre (2007121104) + Thunderbird 2.0.0.12pre (20071211) and default Home calendar.
What Lightning version do you use? What Thunderbird version do you use? What is the target calendar type? Do you see any related messages in the Error Console?

I'm using Thunderbird vs 2.0.0.9 (20071031) with Lightning WCAP enabler 0.7 + Sun Java Calendar link

I checked this issue and a local calendar shows all events. But on a WCAP calendar some events are not visible.
Take a look at May 1th 2008, only 'O.L.H Hemelvaart' is visible, 'Feest van de Arbeid' not.
It seems to be a server bug, maybe caused by the recurrence rule of the event.

More specifically the server seems to require a BYMONTHDAY rule in conjunction with BYMONTH, e.g. modifying the "Feest van de Arbeid" on 2002-05-01 to occur yearly (or rewrite to yearly every may) works. I don't consider this being a bug of lightning.

Daniel, can we resolve this bug as Invalid?
Is there a corresponding server bug that can be linked to?
