Details

A user can only select text from a link if he drag from outside into the link, either also copying the start or the end, even if he only wants something from the middle of the link name. Selecting a part of a link name should be possible. Proposal: Drag and drop of the link on its own area, but different position, should select text between start and end position.
See also bug 50673. Note also that I think you can sort of do this if you hold down Alt while selecting.
