Start Mozilla under Linux, stretch it vertically across two full desktops (must be at taller than one desktop), and look at the bottom part of the window. There's a big grey area between the bottom edge of the window and the bottom of the status bar. The status bar won't extend any further down than 768 pixels from the top of the window on my computer; my monitor's resolution is set at 1024 x 768 pixels.
Confirmed 2000060508 Linux. Interesting problem.. I tried it with Sawmill.
