User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.11) Gecko/20071127 Firefox/2.0.0.11 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.11) Gecko/20071127 Firefox/2.0.0.11 Have disbaled (unchecked them) ALL security warnings in TOOLS|OPTIONS|SECURITY but am constantly, endlessly, infuriatingly plagued with the same security warning about sending unencrypted data. It happens on different nodes so its not a local prob. Searching on "unencrypted" in mozillazine produces NO HITS. Astonishing. Anyway, what's the answer to this warning nag? I've contributed to mozilla, used FF since the beginning, but this warning message is about to result in my pushing the button on FF. Help before I go beserk. TYVM. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
Does this happen for you at http://www.google.com/ or does it only happen at specific sites?
Summary: TOOLS|OPTIONS|SECURITY → Firefox keeps warning me about sending unencrypted data despite my prefs
This only happens when you submit forms, right?
Did the original reporter mean the problem I just documented in bug 445395? I submitted a new bug since it wasn't clear to me if this was the same issue.
