User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8.1.11) Gecko/20071127 Firefox/2.0.0.11 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8.1.11) Gecko/20071127 Firefox/2.0.0.11 When I set browser.sessionstore.enabled=false and restart the browser, the history menu shows an empty history. History entries are still recorded and may be viewed in the sidebar, but no pre-existing or new entries will be displayed in the menu until this configuration entry is reset to 'true' and the browser restarted again. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Navigate to about:config in the OS X build of Firefox and set browser.sessionstore.enabled=false. 2. Restart the browser. 3. Open the history menu. Actual Results: The history menu does not display any of the entries in my browsing history from this or previous sessions. Expected Results: The history menu should show the history entries. I have reproduced this on both PPC and Intel machines using a fresh profile (with no extensions).
This bug has become INVALID with the removal of the browser.sessionstore.enabled pref in bug 449596.
