User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9b3pre) Gecko/2008010104 Minefield/3.0b3pre Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9b3pre) Gecko/2008010104 Minefield/3.0b3pre I use Fx for Windows. I install it using the Fx setup program. Current situation: If I install Fx without requesting that the DOM Inspector be installed, it doesn't get installed. Requested: If I don't request the DOMi, it should still be installed, but the extension should be marked as disabled. To enable it, I could simply go to Tools > Add-ons then click "DOM Inspector" and "Enable". This would be much easier than re-running the installer. Reproducible: Always

Actually, the solution to that problem is to make it possible to install it like any other extension, which has the extra advantage that it's possible for DOMi to ship updates whenever it wants, not just when a new version of Firefox ships.
