Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. open firefox 2. type some URL, e.g. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/something 3. and hit ctrl-backspace Actual Results: URL is deleted at all Expected Results: delete the last part of url (to preceding slash) This is expected behaviour in Linux (more specifically in gnome and KDE). Epiphany, Nautilus, Konqueror all do behave this way.
According to bug 404356, should be fixed on trunk (for Firefox 3) by the patch in bug 190615
