User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; SV1; .NET CLR 2.0.50727) Build Identifier: Camino 1.5.4 When hovering over any link on the page, everything else but the background and the page header image dissappears which makes the whole website useless. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Hover over any link on the page Actual Results: Everything but the link that you hover over, the background and the page header dissappears. Expected Results: Only highlight the link, i.e. change it's color. This is a normal hover effect. This works properly in IE6, IE7, FF2 and Safari. The computer used has had minimal changes done to it so you can expect the default settings to be running on it.

It works fine with Flashblock turned on (but then you miss part of the background, one huge flash object). Happens with Camino 1.5.4, but also on trunk builds and Minefield builds. The flashobject (that purple lady and some rectangular figures) is constantly jumping on top of everything else.

Dupe of bug 335974 or maybe bug 338264?

Some further troubleshooting/triage comments: Philippe says this works on trunk, it's likely not bug 338264. If this works in the latest Flash beta, but not with earlier versions of Flash, that lends further support to this being a dupe of 335974, which goes away with the latest Quartz-based Flash plugin (still in beta last I checked).

I was thinking about bug 334321 (affects both branch and trunk): background flash object that jumps to the foreground on user interaction. Took me a while to find it. (In reply to comment #3) > Philippe says this works on trunk. > No, no, it does not work correctly on trunk (Camino and Minefield).

(In reply to comment #4) > I was thinking about bug 334321 (affects both branch and trunk): background > flash object that jumps to the foreground on user interaction. > Took me a while to find it. Also looks like a good possibility. > (In reply to comment #3) > > > Philippe says this works on trunk. > > > No, no, it does not work correctly on trunk (Camino and Minefield). By which of course I mean "this bug also exists on trunk". That's my quick-typing dyslexia again :-p

(In reply to comment #6) > This WFM with a recent trunk build and Flash 9.0 r115 > Do you have FlashBlock turned ON ? With Flashblock OFF, it does not work correctly here.

(In reply to comment #7) > Do you have FlashBlock turned ON ? Nope, I can see the header/background, and it works fine on both machines I tested (both trunk from about a week ago, both 9.0 r115).

With what Flash version?

(In reply to comment #10) 9.0 r115. I get the same effects on the 20080101 Minefield build.
So, I'm in the same class as Stuart, and I'm also on 10.5. 10.4-only?

I'm not sure why I can't repro it, bug it does look like bug 334321, so let's just go ahead and dupe it.
