When a forum post becomes very long (around 5,300 or more words, or around 65,000 characters) the last chunk of the post appears to be truncated, with just a break in the text then blank space where the rest of the text should be.  Any URLs or other clickable elements in the post that are hidden are still active when you roll the mouse cursor over the area where the text should be.  When I click "Edit" to see the BB Code of the post, all of the text remains in tact.

Forum post size restrictions have been expanded to 16 million characters per post in the MySQL database the forum uses, so that is not the issue.  Besides, the problematic forum post [displays correctly when viewed through Internet Explorer 7].

The forum software being used is SMF (Simple Machine Forums) 1.1.4.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Fill a forum post with 5,300 or more words or 65,000 characters and save it
2. Try to view the saved post in Firefox, and pay attention to the last chunk of the post to see if it's in tact
Actual Results:  
The last section of the post (perhaps around 100 - 200 characters) becomes hidden and is replaced with blank space.  The URLs and other clickable items are still active, albeit invisible.  The problem doesn't occur when the same page is viewed through Internet Explorer 7.

Expected Results:  
The complete post should have been displayed in full.

I use the default Firefox theme.  I have the following extensions/add-ons installed:

In the "Steps to Reproduce", I mentioned that the number of characters truncated approximates 100 - 200.  I rechecked, and it is in fact over 12,000 characters, or a little under 1,000 words.  I'm not sure what I was looking at the first time...

Thanks for reporting. Next time please add a link to an example or at least, please make a screenshot.

However, from the description I can tell that this bug is already filed.
