Details
Thunderbird 2.0.0.12pre (20080104) + Lightning 0.8pre (2008010503)
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start with clean profile and install Lightning. Restart.
2. Switch to Calendar Mode using mode toolbar button
3. Create an event and select it in the main calendar view
4. Select menu File -> Print... or File -> Page Setup...
Actual Results: Menu commands are disabled.
Expected Results: Menu commands are enabled. Print and print configuration should be possible.
Workaround: Use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+P to start Printing.
After switching to Task Mode and back to Calendar Mode the menu command File -> Page Setup... is enabled.
See Bug 394358 for a related issue with the Print toolbar button.

Thunderbird 2.0.0.12pre (20080122) + Lightning 0.8pre (2008012209)
The situation has changed: Menu command File -> Print... is now enabled. But menu command File -> Page Setup... is now always disabled. The workaround from Comment #0 no longer works.
Summary: [Calendar Mode] menu File -> Print is disabled → [Calendar Mode] menu File -> Page Setup is disabled

FWIW, I can reproduce similar problems. (Lightning 0.8pre 2008-02-13 / Thunderbird 2.0.0.9 / Windows XP sp2)

I didn't try it with a clean profile, but this is what I see with my existing profile:
1) Restart Thunderbird
2) Go to Calendar Mode
3) Click on File menu (Page Setup disabled)
4) Go to Mail Mode
5) Click on File menu (Page Setup enabled)
6) Go to Calendar Mode
7) Click on File menu (Page Setup enabled)

Stefan, is this reproducible in a Lightning 1.0pre build including the patch from bug 456385?

Yes. When selecting the calendar tab or task tab the menu entry "File > Page Setup..." is disabled. Menu entry "File > Print..." works fine.

I am using Windows 7, Thunderbird 17.0.6, Lightning 1.9.1 and have tried the workaround of CTRL P, then Task menu then back to Calendar tab, but the Page setup is still disabled. Can you tell me the latest workaround for this issue or has it been fixed by using another version or combination,.......... thanks for your help. Great programs but need to make adjustments in the page before printing.
