User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9b2) Gecko/2007121120 Firefox/3.0b2 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9b2) Gecko/2007121120 Firefox/3.0b2 nowrap styling works in opera and msie but does not in FireFox this is needed to force user to make hard returns in data entry. soft returns when autowrapped are not placed in obj.value string and worse yet there is no spacing so word analysis becomes strained Please make sure this css2 style property functions correctly for the textarea element .... thank you Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. set up a textarea element 2. style it with white-space:nowrap 3. see if long sentences do a wrap (BAD) or bring up a horizontal scroll bar (GOOD) Actual Results: wraps Expected Results: scrollbar and one liner until hard return done
