Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9b2) Gecko/2007121120 Firefox/3.0b2
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9b2) Gecko/2007121120 Firefox/3.0b2

After deleting an entry from the auto-complete from the location bar by pressing DELETE, the focus goes back to the location bar.

This is not like the behaviour of the auto-complete of the Search Bar where the after you delete an entry, it puts focus to the next entry which is the correct behaviour.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to location bar
2. Press down to pop up your history
3. Select any of the entries
4. Press DELETE
5. Focus goes back to location bar
Actual Results:
Focus goes back to location bar

Expected Results:
Focus should go to next entry.
Confirmed with Windows XP and the latest trunk build. I couldn't find an obvious dupe, and I couldn't seem to reproduce bug 402581.

Same for shift-delete when selecting via the keyboard, using OS X and Linux. Quite annoying.
