in gmail with gtalk enabled - if the contact details name is longer than the width of the gtalk contacts panel, the content sticks out of the panel and overlaps with the emails list section.

it happens ONLY if the contact detail contains a comma.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. some gtalk has to be "long" and include a comma e.g. "Name Surname, Firefox Ltd"
2. when the contact is visible, i.e. the person is online on gtalk or is set as show "always" it will overlap the main window with list of emails
Actual Results:  
gmail page automatically doesnt show the whole length of the contacts name if its wider than the panel,  but if there is a comma in this name, he starts counting from comma, not from the first letter of name. If there is more commas, he always counts "where to cut the name short" from the last comma in name

Expected Results:  
a limited number of letters to be shown, doesnt matter how long the contacts name is and taking the comma sign as only a general comma. 

if somebody has an email contact named e.g.:

"Jeremy Higgs, the guy I met at party at joes, cool guy" <[e-mail]>

he cant see a quarter of his email body with :P

From that screenshot it appears more than just a comma can trigger it. I suggest changing the Profuct to "Core" and component to "Layout: Misc Code"
