Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9b3pre) Gecko/2008011804 Minefield/3.0b3pre

FYI. I am using Ubuntu 7.10 with the AWN dock (in place of the window list panel).

I cannot drag a favicon (URL) from the location bar to the Bookmarks>Show All (library) dialog if that dialog is minimized.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Navigate to a URL (www.google.com for example)
2. Click on Bookmarks>Show all Bookmarks
3. Minimize the Library window
4. Drag the favicon in the URL bar to the minimized Library window

Actual results:
Library window does not pop up

Expected results:
Library window should pop up

I have tested this with the default panel and it works as expected. This issue only appears when using a dock.
Doesn't work in Firefox 2 (WinXP) either. Works normally with an unfocused (but not minimised) Library window.
Fx3rc1, 10.4.11, litmus test case 4590. When you try to drag a favicon to a minimized library, the library will not pop up to its normal size so that you can save the bookmark.

Vista bug for this is Bug 383625
certainly not critical. Both Opera and IE correctly open when a drag is hovered over a minimized window in the task bar.
Flags: blocking-firefox3.1?
OS: Linux → All
This is not a critical blocker of functionality, many workarounds exist, so not blocking the 3.1 release.
