When launching the find bar there is a graphical artifact at the bottom of the input field the width of the previous search term text.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Hit Ctrl-F to launch the finder
2. Type something (the longer the better)
3. Hit Esc to close the finder
4. Hit Ctrl-F to launch the finder again
5. Hit End to move the cursor to the end of the input field and deselect the previous text that was automatically highlighted

I'm using GTK+ 2.12.5 under Arch Linux.
Sounds like a dup of bug 345438
I'm not sure. While it may be somehow related:

 * I do not get the same problem when running Firefox 2
 * It only happens when using the find bar
 * It did not happen with earlier Firefox 3 builds
Do you know exact build when this started happening? or at least a between this week and that week?

I performed a binary search of previous builds and it seems the bug was introduced between the 15th and 16th of this month.
Sounds like a different manifestation of bug 412646 to me.
Given that the regression ranges are the same, I agree!
