User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.11) Gecko/20071127 Firefox/2.0.0.11 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.11) Gecko/20071127 Firefox/2.0.0.11 While testing with the Ctrl-Alt-M feature in firefox for combining multiple windows into one tabbed window, I noticed the data in the forum I was working on did not port over. Instead, it seems a new session is created for the forum in the tabbed window. This would be fatal if the user was in the middle of witting an email... Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.N/A 2. 3. Expected Results: Ported over the user session over to the tabbed window It would be great if session data/activities were ported over to the tabbed window.

Please don't add the QA contact to the CC list. Other than that, there's no such thing as a Ctrl+Alt+M feature. This looks like an extension issue. -> INVALID Should the extension trigger a real bug in Firefox, please have the extension's author file a new bug with precise steps to reproduce (resp. indications to the broken code). BTW: Firefox 3.0 will slightly extend the SessionStore API to make window merging even easier for extension authors.

Thanks for the response Simon. I made a typo above. It should say Ctrl+Shift+M. Also, this is in reference to the Mozilla Tab Mix Plus plugin. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1122 Looking forward to Firefox 3.0 Abdul Islam
