This is a non-blocker followup from bug 402620 to decide how we want to display the hostname of web applications. We can display the hostname, the eTLD+1 or the prePath (currently we display the prePath). We should also decide how we want to show if the application will use an encrypted connection. The look metaphor seems to be deprecated. Keeping the scheme before the hostname only for https was suggested but it goes against using the eTLD+1.
See also bug 402287, "register{Protocol,Content}Handler should only be allowed from same host as handler", for related discussion of whether to relax to eTLD+1.
