Summary pretty much says it all. If "Firefox" is present anywhere in the UA string, you get a perfectly functional search. If it isn't, you get served the page without a stylesheet and a big ugly "Unsupported Browser" warning at the top of the page.

FWIW, the initial "Summary" of this bug is "NASA.gov - search feeds seriously broken content to non-Firefox Gecko browsers" -- and remember, Chris, the Summary can be modified (including by you) but comments (including the Description, which is comment #0) cannot.

I see the ugly "Unsupported Browser" header when browsing that URL using "Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9b5pre) Gecko/2008030601 SeaMonkey/2.0a1pre". The search "may" be functional but the page is ugly.

Workaround: create about:config preference "general.useragent.extra.firesomething" and set it to "NOT Firefox/3.0b5pre" (without the quotes in either case). This changes my useragent string to "Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9b5pre) Gecko/2008030601 NOT Firefox/3.0b5pre SeaMonkey/2.0a1pre" and the search page is much prettier.

Which is why I re-stated the problem *in* comment 0 and described a workaround as well. Have you e-mailed the site's administrator?

IIUC, that will be the job of whoever accepts the bug (gets it ASSIGNED to him). As a Belgian citizen with no relation at all with NASA, and no relation with Mozilla except as a plain user of Firefox and SeaMonkey, I don't think I would be the best man for the job.

I can no longer reproduce this bug with either the standard Camino UA string (minus the "like Firefox" part) or the UA string in comment 1. Looks like NASA FIXED it.
