414021 - Layout doesn't adapt when window is made wider than when loaded

If I load the page above (possibly others), the layout doesn't widen more than when I loaded the page. I.e., I can narrow the browser, and contents will adapt, widen it again, and layout will stop widening at the original loading width.
If I make the window wider, I have to reload the page.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Load a the above page
2.Widen the browser window
3.
Actual Results:  
Layout will stop widening

Expected Results:  
Continue adapting (filling the entire width)

Firefox acts normally.

Which version/build did you try ?

Confirming (on Windows), on 1.8.1 branch.

1. Create a new profile.
2. Start browser.
2. Resize the window so it will get a horizontal scroll bar when loading the page.
3. Load the page.
4. Widen the window.
4r. The content stop widening at the same width the h. scroll bar goes away.

I don't get the bug on the very first try,
but after a reload, it happens every time.
