Details

(Whiteboard: [closeme 2010-06-25])

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9b2) Gecko/2007121120 Firefox/3.0b2 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9b2) Gecko/2007121120 Firefox/3.0b2 The Find Toolbar does not respond in directory listings except in certain special circumstances (which may be the most common for some users, but not me). See STR for details. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: STR #1: 1. Set accessibility.typeaheadfind to true. 2. Set accessibility.typeaheadfind.linksonly to true. 3. In the Location Bar, type "C:\" or some other path, preferably one with many files or subdirectories. 4. Start pressing letter keys IMMEDIATELY after you press Enter. Don't wait for the listing to finish rendering. STR #2: 1. In a directory listing, click on a subdirectory. 2. Use Alt+Left to go back to the previous directory listing. 3. Try typing some characters. Actual Results: The Find Toolbar does not appear. Keypresses are ignored, even after the listing finishes to render. Expected Results: Find Toolbar should always work. Once Firefox gets into this state where it ignores the keypresses, it also ignores "'" (apostrophe) and "/" (slash) which are supposed to bring up the Find Toolbar. Ctrl+F, however, works.
Product: Firefox → Toolkit
please retest with newer version. Close, or update comment/attach testcase as appropriate to test results. Thanks
