On Vista a feed created in the Bookmarks Toolbar in Fx2.0.0.11 does not work when you do the major update to Fx3.

Steps (as of 1/28/08 due to MU availability on the testing update channels)
1. Install Fx20011 on Vista
2. Subscribe to a www.npr.org feed (music for example) using Live Bookmarks, placing in the Bookmarks Toolbar Folder
3. Edit the channel-prefs.js file to point to "betatest" as the update channel
4. Restart Fx and check for updates

Once the application restarts after the major update you can see that the feed does not load. If you add the same feed in the new version it works.

The major update path was clobbered by the 2.0.0.12rc1 builds (ie 2.0.0.11 goes to 2.0.0.12 now). I'll try to get that restored asap.

The 2.0.0.11 --> 3.0b2 major update is back up - use the majortest channel. I can't reproduce on XP, but looks like that's expected.

Juanb, can you try running this again on a beta 3 MU?   nick confirms that is should be working, using channel "majortest".   Thanks

I cannot recreate the problem now.

I installed Fx20012 and created three feeds in the bookmarks toolbar (nytimes.com, npr.org, craigslist.org), and in addition I created a folder in the bookmarks toolbar where I placed the same feeds.

After the MU restart all three feeds in the bookmarks toolbar did not load right away. The nytimes, npr.org loaded after a few seconds, but the craigslist.org one failed to load in both the bookmarks toolbar and the other folder I created.

The problem is that craigslist feeds created in Fx3 won't load, whether I used and MU'd Fx3b3 or a virgin Fx3b3.  (http://sfbay.craigslist.org/search/mcy?query=bmw+r1200gs&minAsk=min&maxAsk=max)

The craigslist issue was bug 381357, iirc. Can we close this?
