User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9b2) Gecko/2007121120 Firefox/3.0b2 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9b2) Gecko/2007121120 Firefox/3.0b2 If I close Firefox 3.0b2 legitimately with tabs open, on restarting it just displays a blank page instead of the tabs I had open before. I wonder whether this is because I have 'Keep my history' switched off? Surely my choice to restart the same session as I close should override the history selection? Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. If I close Firefox 3.0b2 by kiling its process, the function works fine - I guess because Firefox doesn't get a chance to delete the history as it closes
Just to confirm, you have Tools->Options, 'Main' tab, 'Startup' section, When Minefield starts: Show my windows and tabs from last time set correct?
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9b3pre) Gecko/2008013003 Minefield/3.0b3pre I tried this out; in the Options window I unchecked "Keep my history for at least x days" and restarted, but the history was still there and no blank tab :). I believe this is a known bug if not forgotten. I can reproduce the blank page by setting "Always clear my private data when I close Minefield" and by checking "Browsing History" in the "Clear Private Data" window.

I have checked "Always clear my private data when I close Firefox" (incl. Browsing History) and UNchecked "Keep my history for at least x days". I wish Firefox not to keep any history or private data, but the option to start with tabs from last session should override that - just for those pages. If that is too difficult to implement (maybe the info would have to be encrypted and stored safely) then maybe it should become unavailable to the user?
