Runing: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en-US; rv:1.9b3pre) Gecko/2008012904 Minefield/3.0b3pre Safari and Firefox 2 do a better job rendering that page. Minefield botches up the whole table (any table on that page).

This matches Fx2 but I don't have that handy on this computer anymore.

dupe of bug 413286?

Regression window: 2006-06-15-04 -- 2006-06-16-04 (bug 333352) Firefox trunk is compatible with IE7 and Opera 9.22. Firefox 2 and Safari 3.0.4 has the old layout. So I guess this bug is invalid?

Renders as expected in Safari 3.1 (fyi).
This is still true and another STR is http://docs.cacti.net/node/50 . Renders much more readable in Safari than in Minefield (Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en-US; rv:1.9.1b2pre) Gecko/20081030 Minefield/3.1b2pre).
And btw, by Safari I mean 3.1.2 (5525.20.1).
Summary: minefield renders tables incorrectly → columns with width="1*" are much too narrow
It seems like we're treating the width="1*" as width="1" instead of ignoring it; we're probably better off ignoring it.
Severity: normal → S3
