Build: 2000060508
Platforms: Works on Linux Redhat and Windows 98
Expected Results: After selecting Edit page, the composer application should open
and display the current page.
What I got: After selecting Edit page, the composer window is not opened.
Selecting Edit page from the File menu again, results in a crash.
Steps to reproduce:
1) Open any url like http://home.netscape.com.
2) After site loads, select Edit Page from the File menu.
3) Notice that the composer window is not opened.
4) Again reselect Edit Page from the File menu.
5) After a few seconds, the application crashes.

Hmmmm, I don't think this is a Navigator bug. :-)

With the June 6th build (2000-06-06-08), I still get a crash when attempting to
edit a page viewed in the browser. I have deleted the mozilla registry and the
documents folder and pulled a fresh build manually. I can only reproduce this
problem under Mac OS 9. Here are my simplified steps:
1) Launch NS6.
2) Default page opens in browser (http://home.netscape.com/).
3) Select Edit Page from File menu.
4) After a few seconds, the composer editing window doesn't open.
5) Reselect Edit page again. The application crashes.

at the moment, I can't reproduce this bug on my debug Macintosh build from today.
I do notice that home.netscape.com's web page has a form on it. Can someone
narrow down the page or testcase?

An installed commercial build also doesn't crash for me, like this, when doing
Edit Page on home.netscape.com.
However, it does crash when closing the resulting composer window (which is bug
41605). I wonder if sometimes it doesn't crash on close, but does the next time
you open a composer window?

chris: please verify that this works for you, for the *first* time. Second and
subsequent times during a run may be confused by bug 41605.

Turns out that this bug is a low memory issue that simon is already working.
Marking verified dup of 20743.
