Typed URL's stop clearing after awhile and deleting them does not work either.


Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Type a url in the address bar
2. make sure the typed url is in the typed url history
3. clear the private data / delete the url from the typed url history
Actual Results:  
Typed url's don't always get erased, once this behavior does start, any new url typed in will not be erased

Expected Results:  
All typed url's are erased.

Seems to work ok before deleting the smart bookmarks folder.
after doing so though, is when i do see this.

Updated reproduction steps

create a new profile if necessary
load minefield (version doesn't matter)
set it to clear private data automatically(history must be enabled obviously)
go to a site,... say http://www.google.com and bookmark it.

Restart firefox and make sure the google bookmark is still there

type http://www.google.com into the address box and navigate to it.
At this point either quit firefox with the "save and quit" option, or restart firefox with the "save and quit" option.

Upon restarting, if you open the history, depending on how you show history (mines set by site) you will find a folder present for that site which cannot be compacted/expanded and contains what appears to be no site. The only way to get rid of this at this point is to load an older Firefox (3.0.3 did the trick) and exit it, which will clear the history properly, or delete the places files(backup the bookmarks first of course)
