Unfortunately mozillafirefox.ir is violating the Firefox Logo trademark rules. Pedram Veisi is the registrant, and AFAIK Bahram Maravandi is the admin of the site.

Bahram, please change the logo as soon as possible.

Also you should stop making your translation looks like the official one. We have talked about it and if you wanna help Mozilla L10n project, you should accept some rules. We had set up a weekly meeting on #persian on irc.freenode.net, which you can join to get involved in the process. Some other professional FOSS developers, translators and community members (from RedHat, Ubuntu, etc) would be there.

Meanwhile I'm gonna remove all your links, like the two on http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/lang-packs/persian.html .

OTOH, registering the domain, your colleague accepted to not violated any international trademark policy . Please keep that in mind too. (More info on http://www.nic.ir/Rules_and_Contracts)

BTW, If you keep your site a general Firefox Help/Fan/etc site (without any violations of course) I would help to spread it, like add a link from firefox.ir, etc.
Guys,

The site firefox.ir and although mozillafirefox.ir are not official, both. Thus, there is no more chance in firefox.ir!

In the case of Violation, You have to be concern about the licences and nothing more because the logography or typography from fans and any thing subjected is not crime on Copyright!. Violation means changing then promoting something as an original. A little school boy know it, if living in west!

I couldn't find any kind of violation in mozillafirefox.ir by the way, if you're right so we have to alert a crime for all wallpaper makers and logo makers who working on Speeredfirefox.com like as me! because we're making Firefox wallpaper wholly customised! Therefore, Your evidence is absolutely wrong!

Meanwhile,Can I ask you bro, what are the results of your weekly meeting on #persian on (in) irc.freenode.net?

The Coffeshop meeting is not working in the case of a science project! RedHat, Ubuntu and some other huge words are good but all are fake and unbelievable. How you're working on this project while there is no at least a bit of translated words from you! so any thing that everybody can say about your strong efforts is " Thank you, But please don't pooling on our legs!"

You stink up the Persian (IR) translation project by grabbing a require bug registration step and now you working to make it one more about the right and only technical translation project. We will make direct contact with our guys there to make them sure about your fake details and your silly comments!

Take your care bro and don't be chilish.
Bye now
amateur hour !
don't you think we have a goal in common and obviously it's not about the logo?
Dear behnam
Of course Mozilla.ir is not official behnam, you should stop making your translation looks like the official one too. keep it in mind Mozilla Persian is not your property.
Dear bahram
i think you sould contact mozilla corporation, they will allow you if you use that logo in non-commercial side.
   http://www.mozilla.org/foundation/trademarks/community-edition-policy.html

There are two additional broad categories of things you can't do with Mozilla's logos. The first is to produce modified versions of them. A modified logo also would raise the possibility of consumer confusion, thus violating Mozilla's trademarks rights, too (remember the overarching requirement that any use of a Mozilla trademark be non-confusing?). The second concerns high-resolution copies of Mozilla logos, which you cannot have or use. If you've a very good reason to seek an exception to the rule against having and using high-resolution copies of Mozilla logos please contact the Mozilla Corporation for Firefox and Thunderbird, or the Mozilla Foundation for other logos.
Iman: you need to reread your message before throwing around accusations of being childish.

Clearly, we would like all the Iranian community to work together in peace. But harmony is not promoted by setting up sites which look like they have official permission from Mozilla but do not.

We would also prefer it for there to be only one localisation into Farsi. Of course, we cannot prevent people doing alternative translations. But you need to remember that all translations are derivative works of the English version. They should be made available under the Mozilla tri-licence as the English version. Which means that each translation team can use the work of the other. Axel Hecht, the l10n coordinator, has responsibility for choosing which team he wants to make official. If you have complaints about the choice, direct them to him. But you would need to prove that the chosen team are not doing a good job.

The Firefox logo is a registered trademark. Trademark law is different to copyright law. In order to use the trademark in a domain name or on your website, you need the permission of the Mozilla Corporation. Please acquire it. :-)

Gerv
@Gerv: Persian not Farsi please.

Persian Firefox group was established 2 years ago, and our goal is promoting Firefox for iranian users. This project is based on cooperative work. As you mentioned, there is an official localization and one unofficial language pack. Our work is based on the language pack and we are linking to this add-on. In the other hand, Persian language has some additional needs like the Jalali calendar etc., which are addressed in the Persian plus pack. You will not find any promotions in our website about the official Persian Firefox localization. We localized Mozilla product pages too. You can be absolutely sure, that we have not too much time to produce parallel projects.

As i know a localization should be finished before the official release, please have a look to all released languages. Exactly at this point begins our problem with mr the zwnj. He seems to be working on this project for years, and we have not any beta version of his work yet, and Mozilla is going to release Firefox 3 soon. He informs us in this bug about his weekly #persian channel in some irc server. There is a google group created by axel for persian localization, and you'll not find any comments from this project's owner. All he is trying to do is, to constrain us,as you can see in this bug, which could be easily resolved by one simple email. We spent hundreds of working hours to create a portal for Persian Firefox users, and we promoted the new website with this logo which is a combination of Firefox and lotus flower (a Persian symbol), and of course we do not want to violate the trademark rules, and changed it to the original Firefox logo.

@Behnam, you should leave your zero-communication way, the first step that i did before starting this project was informing you and other involved people. At that time you were not the project owner yet. Try to get the big picture, our main goal is persian software for iranians, not for ourself. Maybe you have a look to firefox-fa google group, and prevent future issues. For example there is a long thread about the persian firefox logo. Thank you for advertising our work ;-)

@mozilla localization team: It is not enough to have some one working on some localization projects, there should be a clear project planning with known release dates, with people who are able to coordinate localizing, testing, documentation, and user feedback evaluation. Our language pack was finished and tested and evaluated in 4 weeks, and it was downloaded more than 12000 times.

You are welcome to visit our wiki (wiki.mozillafirefox.ir), which is a collection of documentation, developer and support stuff, or choose new add-ons from our add-ons blog (addons.mozillafirefox.ir). We are collecting all persian firefox blogs in our planet website (planet.mozillafirefox.ir).

@behnam: remember, our email is infoATmozillafirefoxDOTir.

:-)

Has this issue been resolved?
The current version of the website no longer uses the modified logos, so I think we can resolve this was WFM now. Thanks to Bahram for removing the modified logo.
