Since I downloaded the update for the 2008021304 build, Minefield freezes when loading Google Reader.

Watching the firefox.exe process under Process Explorer, the 'Private Bytes' column rises from ~80MB to ~380MB (the amount of physical memory), stays there for a while, and then returns to ~80MB as normal. The whole process takes about 1.5 minutes, and the browser is frozen the whole time.

Tried a new profile - no effect, also doesn't matter how many items are visible in Google Reader on startup.

Build ID: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9b4pre) Gecko/2008021404 Minefield/3.0b4pre

Does that mean that it worked in the previous day's build? If not, can you find a regression range using nightlies?

Yes, I've just checked using a freshly downloaded build: 2008021204 works fine, with both fresh and existing profiles, but 2008021304, 1404 and 1504 all display this behaviour (checked in safe mode as well).
While looking for possible bugs in the regression range, I noticed bug 416931 comment 10, and can confirm that I see the same behaviour with http://docs.google.com/ .
