As Pascal suggested on bug 417763, we want to host firefox.ir and mozilla.ir on mozilla.com server, with en-US as default language for now, until we start the localization, under /fa.

Actually, my reading of that bug says Pascal suggested hosting it at www.mozilla.com/ir rather than hosting your domains. Doing as he suggests makes this the proper component. If you're actually wanting those domains hosted it would need to move to Server Ops.
Once the FF3 redesign lands, I'm going to make a list of top-traffic pages on mozilla.com to localize. Then I'm planning on emailing the dev-l10n-web list to let them know. Right now we don't have any main (non in-product) pages localized, so it will be a new process, but hopefully not too bumpy. I'm excited for it. :) Behnam, are you on the dev-l10n-web mailing list?

It should be www.mozilla.com/fa, right?

I know, that's ok. In fact I opened bug 417765 for these issues.

I thought we can get http://ww.mozilla.ir/fa work as well. If it's not possible, I'm going to these sites from my server for now.

Yes, but not reading now. :D I'm gonna start when needed.

I'm going to "redirect" these sites from my server for now.
Any progress here?
This look like an IT bug to me.

What exactly is the action for IT here?
Let me pipe in to say that MoCo IT doesn't normally host community websites (at least, that is what I have been led to believe.)

For instance, our Vietnamese community is working on a website, which will be at mozilla.vn (which is a domain that Mozilla owns) but the hosting is by a 3rd party host, not MoCo IT.
www.mozilla.ir redirects to firefox.ir which redirects to fa.www.mozilla.com/fa

I assume this is what was desired, so I am closing this out.
