using Gmail, and receive Winfax attachment (FXM file) have to select application to use to open this file everytime
In tools>option>content>file types>manage there is no option to add new file types
This problem on after upgrade to Fire fox 2
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.send file with FXM extension
2read email with Gmail
3.click on download and check box "do this automatically for files like this in the future" is not active
Expected Results:
In previous version of Firefox had the option to save file to disc or open with Winfax viewer (default option)
Firefox 2 has save to disc as default option and have to select application everytime to view file - application details not rembered

Which content type is used by gmail for this attachment ?
If the checkbox is disabled then gmail either sends this with content disposition: attachment or they send it as application/octet-stream and that means that this is no bug because it's by design that you can't save a helper application.
I can't see a difference for handling application/octet-stream with
http://mversen.de/mozilla/text/mozilla.rar between FF2 and FF3
