User-Agent: Mozilla/4.72 (Macintosh; U; PPC)
BuildID: 2000060708

When attempting to load the main portion of the rockyandbullwinkle page, the
browser crashes my system with a type 10 system error.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Go to www.rockyandbullwinkle.com
2.Click on "enter"
3.watch Mozilla crash

Actual Results: crashes MacOS

Expected Results: Shouldn't do that
i couldn't reproduce this
I discovered that this only happened when I coppied and pasted the plugins from

Netscape 4.7x into Mozilla's plug-in directory, in an attempt to view the

mulitimedia presented on the site (ie the QuickTime moves, and sounds). Probably

shouldn't have done that. Sorry.

shoe, which plugin causes it. have you tried
copying them into the mozilla directory one at a time.
It seems to be tied to the Widnows Media Plugin. It was fine 'till I put it in.

Then it crashed. But it also crashes now that I took it out.

fixing URL and typo in summary that's been bothering me for awhile :) I don't
know what the deal is with this, and whether we're expected to support copying
plugins from ns 4.7's plugin directory into mozilla's plugins dir (I would
think they'd be incompatible?) No point in having this sit unconfirmed,
though. reassigning to plug ins and confirming so they can take a look.

Shrirang, what do you see? I don't quite see what is described in the original
report. The page uses Flash. Does it crash?
I can see the crash. With java enabled, this happens on windows and mac.
Clicking on 'Enhanced' on the main page loads a window with shockwave plugin and
a 'scrolling text' applet at the bottom. If java is disabled, this works, the
plugin loads and there is no crash. Should this go to OJI? Thx

Oops...I take back my words. This is not a problem on windows. Checked with
Andrei on another windows machine and the java applet embedded in the window
loads the page fine with no crash. However the browser crashes when I
close/press buttons in the other javascript window that opens up. I will file a
bug again javascript for that.
As for this crasher on mac (with java enabled), there is already a blocker bug
for mac (java applets crashing the browser). If java is disabled, this page does
not crash the browser So,marking this as a dup of 36381.
 Thnx Andrei!
