User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9b4pre) Gecko/2008022304 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9b4pre) Gecko/2008022304 Some images are rendered incorrectly when I view certain pages (e.g., the navigation tabs on http://mozilla.org/; the header on http://arstechnica.com/; or the top nav bar on http://apple.com/). The image is still rendered incorrectly if I right click > view image. Sometimes, images render as expected but become corrupted as I hover the cursor over the image. This problem still persists using the latest nightly build. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1. visit affected web page 2. hover over image if necessary 3. Actual Results: The image appears corrupted, usually appearing significantly lighter than it should be and with all shading/gradients etc. gone. Expected Results: The image should render correctly. I am running Fedora 8 with libpng-1.2.22 and cairo-1.4.14. The browser is the latest Firefox nightly.
Do you use an official Mozilla.org binary build, a fedora one or a self-compiled one ? Do you mean with "latest" a trunk or a branch build ? Please attach a screenshot.

It's a nightly build from the trunk (http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/nightly/latest-trunk/firefox-3.0b4pre.en-US.linux-i686.tar.bz2).
