When right-clicking on a page link, the option to open this link in a new tab has the shortcut key "t" for new _t_ab. (btw. w is for new _w_indow).
When right-clicking on a bookmarks link, the option to open this link in a new tab has the shortcut key "w" for ne_w_ tab. (btw. n for _n_ew window)
That's bad usability. Users expect the shortcuts to be the same all over time. I know it is fatuous to implment, but as i expect "new tab" and "new window" to be some very often used features, this should be harmonized.
I am not sure, but it could even be better to not offer any shortcut at all than offering a different one. In bookmarks "t" stands for cu_t_. so in worst case, i cut loose bookmarks instead of opening them in a new tab. =:o(
The whole right-click menu has these differences. Not offering shortcuts for cut, copy, paste could be a way. There's possibility with ctrl-x, etc. when editing bookmarks.
Perhaps there's room to change this in future releases (the next major release could easily deal with that without too much troubles with other shortcuts / plugins / ...)
I am very sure, the problem occurs in other languages, too.
