In IE7 it has a bit of animation that makes it smoother. I think it would be a nice addition if there was some animation to make it smoother like IE7. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Click url dropdown marker 2.Appears instantly 3. Actual Results: Appears instantly with no animation like IE7 Expected Results: Have a little animation to make it dropdown smoothly.

This behaviour should depend on your OS settings. If menu animation are enabled, it should be enabled also in location bar (even if I find animations useless and a slow down ^__^)
