Printing directly from Firefox 3 always prints in pure black & white without gray shades.
If printing to a PDF printer, then using a pdf reader to print it later,
the quality of the print is perfect.

Does the problem also occur in the latest Firefox trunk build?
http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/nightly/latest-trunk/
Component: General → Printing
Product: Firefox → Core
QA Contact: general → printing
Version: unspecified → Trunk
I tried the build of today, and still encoutered the same printing poor quality.
Its as if the whole page is gone through a high contrast filter befor printing to the real printer.
Printing to a pdfprinter and using a pdf reader to print to the same printer
gives a much better result.
This is a duplicate of bug 399388

Stefan, this should be fixed now, could you try the latest build and
verify please? Reopen the bug if it still occurs. Thanks.
