421923 - Take image of bm-xserve16, and setup on three other new xserves

We're ready to take a master image for a Leopard tinderbox from bm-xserve16. It can be taken down without any go-ahead, just drop a comment here when you do. This'll be a separate gold image from the existing ones for 10.4 PPC and 10.4 Intel.

Please then setup the new image on the other three XServes that were recently purchased.

I'll will grab the image off bm-xserver16 tonight.  I will test a restore on bm-xserver17 to validate the image.

Thanks Phong. Looks like these got changed to

I've set the machine name to bm-xserve17 (System Prefs > Sharing), so it shows up correctly when using VNC.

Are 18 & 19 off at the moment ? I can't get a response from them via VNC or ssh.

note these IPs may/will change again once added to dhcp/dns - please don't use the machines until the ticket is resolved.

Can I use bm-xserve16 now that the image is taken ? Any progress to report ?

Does anyone know what the administrator password for these boxes?  I didn't log on to verify the IP addresses of these servers.

Should be on IT's list of Build passwords.

Image was already taken, so you can use 16.  

And I missed that no one actually setup DHCP - fixed and they should all be reachable.
