suggests some kind of binary incompatability.


It would be great if we could get an update to the piclens extension pushed out to beta testers if that is the case.

chofmann: if you can get a .dmp we can find out what interface was called in frame 1 and the stack trace from frames 3..5

please include a url for searching for this and properly set the os when filing...

Blocking for tracking as this is a final release dependency, so we either need to decouple that dependency or figure out what's wrong.

This is almost certainly due to piclens being used by people overriding compat.  Its a binary component for an extension that's compatible with 2.0.0.* as a maxversion.  Renom for now, this shouldn't block...

Piclens has just uploaded their Firefox 3 compatibility version and it works fine. I tested it on Fx 3.0 Beta 3 and Fx 3.0 Beta 5 on Mac & Win. So, I'm going to resolve this. Please re-open if we continue to see crashes.
