User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.12) Gecko/20080201 SeaMonkey/1.1.8 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.12) Gecko/20080201 SeaMonkey/1.1.8 I have an IMAP account @ imap.aim.com. However, I regularly get the message "2 (1032) That mail is not currently available" as a pop-up XUL dialog which only has the "OK" button. It's a huge annoyance. There should be a preference to disable this dialog. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open a borked IMAP4 account where an email has gone missing 2. get "2 (1032) That mail is not currently available" as a pop-up XUL dialog 3. be annoyed Actual Results: You get "2 (1032) That mail is not currently available" Expected Results: I want to go to about:config and change a value so that dialog goes away for good.
This bug occurs with my imap.aim.com account. It flashes this message about every 2 minutes, requiring me to switch windows and click 'OK'. Then I have to switch back to my working window. I have deleted about 1000 eMails (of about 3500), compacted my INBOX, rebuilt my index several times. In addition, I have removed T'bird altogether, and re-installed it. I would also note that I have run T'bird for several years, and only this week gotten this message; Also, I do NOT get this message when using T'bird on my laptop for the same eMailBox....HELLLLPPPP!!!!
Currenly I am not sure whether I understand what message we are talking about. @Reporter: Is that the same message what will appear if you disconnect your PC from Internet? I see such a message "mail server not available" sometimes for my IMAP accounts if a VPN access or similar disconnects my other applications from intrenet, and indeed, that's annoying.

No response, so I close this one. @Reporter: Please feel free to reopen this Bug if you still can reproduce with a current SeaMonkey version and a current OS and if you can contribute a step by step instruction (containing every key press and every mouse click) how to reproduce the problem reliably.
