From a folder with 5 bookmarks in it, open it all in tabs.  Get 5 tabs.  Do it again, get 10 tabs.  Do it again, get 15 tabs.  Get the pattern?  It does not work like the version 2 of firefox where it kills any other tabs so that the total amount is equal to the number in the folder.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.From a folder with 5 bookmarks in it, open it all in tabs.  Get 5 tabs. 
2.Do it again, get 10 tabs.
3.Do it again, get 15 tabs.
Actual Results:  
As described in steps to reproduce.  

Expected Results:  
It should only have opened the total number of tabs in the folder.

Yeah, I see the same. I tried to change the value of the pref browser.tabs.loadFolderAndReplace but that doesn't seem to work anymore. I think to remember that this was intended but I don't remember the reason.

Bug 451915 - move Firefox/Places bugs to Firefox/Bookmarks and History. Remove all bugspam from this move by filtering for the string "places-to-b-and-h".

In Thunderbird 3.0b, you do that as follows:
Tools | Message Filters
Make sure the correct account is selected. Click "New"
Conditions: Body   contains   places-to-b-and-h
Change the action to "Delete Message".
Select "Manually Run" from the dropdown at the top.
Click OK.

Select the filter in the list, make sure "Inbox" is selected at the bottom, and click "Run Now". This should delete all the bugspam. You can then delete the filter.
