Let's find the extension author here and have them help us fix this bug (since it could be an extension problem).

Added Alan to the CC list and removed whiteboard tag.

Does this mean that the Exif Viewer does not leak memory if its window is closed *before* Firefox is closed? Do other extensions that open windows have the same problem? Is there anything that I can add, to the close event of the window for example, to mimic whatever cleanup FF is doing? Is there anything in the leak log that should be of particular interest to me?

Jonas or Ben, can you help Alan out here?

Not wanted for 1.9.0.x since this doesn't meet maintenance release criteria (security, stability, regression from maintenance release).
