Attached file testcase
See testcase, to reproduce the issue:
- Print the attached testcase (to a file, if you want to save paper).
- Press "Cancel" in the print progress dialog

Expected result:
The print job should cancel (if you printed to a file, the file should be deleted, I think).

Actual result:
The print job goes on silently, it seems.

I'm seeing this also on branch.
There is a difference with trunk builds, though. I can't reload the testcase after canceling a print job. I get the "The document cannot change while Printing or in Print Preview." alert, while the print job is secretly going on.

This seems similar to bug 253926 (which is fixed).
It can be more easily seen with https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/attachment.cgi?id=311410 even.
With bug 424377 fixed, timers aren't run anymore, while printing.
You'll notice that the timer won't be reactivated after clicking the "Cancel" button in the print progress dialog.
I am also experiencing this behavior with 2.0.0.12 20080226 under FC8 Linux.
FF 2.0.0.13:

Okay this isn't acceptable. I just printed 40 pages of junk, even though I canceled the print job via Firefox.
If I hadn't ran out of paper, I would have printed 152 **** pages.

Firefox printing has major issues. Fix PLEASE!!!!
Also observed under FF 3.0.3 on XP, and SeaMonkey 1.1.12 also on XP.
There's a small difference, though, on Firefox: AFTER it sends the whole humongous job to the printer, it THEN kills the job on the print queue. If it's a fast printer and/or a large job, it still can print a lot of stuff before cancelling. Not to mention the wait. It would be better to STOP SENDING the pages from the moment you click "Cancel."
