There is a problem with the Adblock Pro add-on. It blocks a lot of the video images on some of the web sights. All it shows is a blank spot where the image should be with a tab labeled "Block" in the upper right corner. When I drag the cursor across where the image should be it tuns to the hand. If I click where the image should be it opens up OK. If I scroll up so a very small part of the top edge is hidden, the image appears. Scroll back down and it disappears. When I disable Adblock Pro the images work OK.
I have a First Generation Rev A iMac G5 with Firefox 2.0.0.13. I ran Minefield and the images work OK with it.
I have capture images of what it does if you give me an address to send them.
Firefox quit the first time I was typing in this information. It and Thunderbird quit a lot for no known reason. I went back to Safari and Mail, but I hate Apple's Address Book, and I like seeing the time in different countries, my temperature, and the other add-ons right in the browser without doing anything. I also like the way Thunderbird lists the "Read" messages and shows the "Unread" and "Total" at the bottom right corner. I have it set up so when Firefox is over Thunderbird I can still see if I have mail.
Sometimes the cursor vanishes when in the upper left corner. I don't know if it is just certain web pages. I am going to keep track. The cursor will vanish in a space about 1/4 of the screen. Move the cursor out of the area to the right or down and it reappears. When the cursor goes over anything that would normally highlight with the cursor over it, that item highlights, but I can't see the cursor. Click on it and it works OK.
I am having a problem with the computer when it goes to sleep on its own. I went to the MacFixIt web page and did all that the people suggested and the conclusion was it is a hardware problem. An Apple tech guy says it MIGHT be the (logic board). Could this be part of the problem with Adblock? I have a brand new hard drive (different problem) and that didn't fix it.
Your spell checker says I am misspelling Firefox and Thunderbird. Ironic, isn't it!!!
Reproducible: Sometimes
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Make sure Adblock Pro is enabled. Go to (http://littlegreenfootballs.com/weblog/) and scroll down to (Video: UN Watch on Another Corrupt UN Human Rights Official. Tue, Mar 25, 2008 at 12:59:30 pm PDT).
2. If the image is blank, scroll slowly up so the top edge would go out of sight.
3. If the image was blank before, it will appear now. It does it on different sight, including YouTube.
Actual Results:
As described above.
