User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.13) Gecko/20080311 Firefox/2.0.0.13 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.13) Gecko/20080311 Firefox/2.0.0.13 I loaded the newest update to Firefox this morning. After doing so, I cannot load www.elance.com - the page just hangs, no error message or anything. The title of the page loads but the page itself does not. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Download newest patch & Install 2.Go to www.elance.com 3.Witness no loading. Actual Results: Did not load elance.com Expected Results: Loaded elance.com
Can you please clear the disk cache in the the Tools/Options/Privacy area/Clear now or press shift+reload while loading the page ? If that doesn't help: Does it work in the Firefox safemode - http://kb.mozillazine.org/Safe_Mode

Summary: Hi There - I wasn't sure what to categorize this problem under. The URL above, elance.com, which I use daily for freelance work, won't load after I installed the newest update this morning. → elance.com won't load after I installed the newest Firefox update
Hi There: I tried both of these suggestions (I had tried shift refresh before e-mailing) but neither worked. I uninstalled and re-installed the pre-update version, then killed a bunch of spyware off of my computer. Thinking that this may have been the source of the issue, I downloaded the update and reinstalled it - once again I may not load Elance. I am going to load the pre-update version again, and shut updates off until we can get this fixed. I use Elance daily for my job as do many other providers and I'm sure that I'm not the only one experiencing this issue. Please help me never use Explorer again :). Best Regards, Angela West
Angela: is this still broken for you?
Nope - new computer! Until it died though, I actually couldn't use Firefox at all without it crashing, forget this earlier issue of not being able to load one website. Maybe chalk it up to an old computer? I could use IE and Chrome no problem, although I stuck to Chrome.
Thanks for the follow-up, Angela; sorry it took so long to re-ping from our side. Resolving as WFM.
