currently, addons manager (on linux) has no icons for buttons like "install" etc.
I wonder if they could use appropriate icons and they could be placed on the right (according to GNOME's HIG, where buttons like "install updates" and "ok" are placed on the most right side.
"install" - gtk-open (like in GNOME's appearance capplet)
"find updates" - gtk-refresh for example
"disable" - gtk-no
"enable" - gtk-yes
"preferences" - gtk-preferences
I'll try to find out some CSS and then I'll post screenshot with icons :) .
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.
2.
3.
Actual Results:
no icons for useful buttons and non-intuitional position of buttons
Expected Results:
some icons for useful buttons and intuitional position of buttons
"about {addons}" - gtk-about
"use theme" - gtk-apply
"visit home" - gtk-home or gtk-jump-to
"uninstall" - gtk-delete

Is this still a problem in Firefox 3?
Summary: addons manager lifting → addons manager does not use gtk icons on buttons
if you could read, you would see that this is about firefox 3...

Livio: Mossop is referring to the timestamp in comment 0, hwich is clearly talking about a three-month-old build. He's asking if it's a problem in 3.0 release candidates, or in the official 3.0 build.

Doesn't sound like this is still relevant with the new UI.
