User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en-US; rv:1.9b4) Gecko/2008030317 Firefox/3.0b4 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en-US; rv:1.9b4) Gecko/2008030317 Firefox/3.0b4 I read a page with a bunch of links and I command-click them to have them open in new tabs in the background, so I can continue reading the main page. Sometimes it works, but I have "Accept cookies from site, Ask me every time" and when a page wants to set a cookie, the browser switches to that tab taking me from the one I'm reading. In FF2 on OX X, I see the same cookie-causes popup but it leaves me on the original page, as it should. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. browse a site with a bunch of URLS (with "Cookies: Ask Me" turned on 2. command click some links to open new tabs in the background 3. pages that want to set links will cause popup and switch to their tab, not the one you're reading Expected Results: Browser should stay on original page. It's acceptable for cookie notifications to popup but not to switch tabs.
