I have created a shortcut to mozilla.exe and set it so that the default on the application should be maximized. the application does not listen and opens in normal (restored) mode.
I see this too. This is probably related to the "opening new window using previous window's size". Asa, what do you think?
I see this also; pink any ideas?

Summary: shortcut to mozilla.exe problem → Mozilla doesn't remember to maximize window on restart

I can only size the window from JS, not maximise it. Bill?

I think this problem has existed for at least a year now. Would be nice if the final release would remember the maximize state.
